Technology is great but it’s not always reliable. Not only is technology potentially unreliable in remote areas, but also in times of emergency where a quick, hands on solution is needed. Example: How long does it take to phone someone on a mobile phone if you are being attacked. Then how long does it take for someone to actually get to you. In the heat of the moment, when it’s as real as it gets a back up is a smart idea. Hope that doesn’t scare you too much but I like to keep it real.
